I'm Stacey, a commercial lawyer who genuinely cares about helping business owners get things right from the start.

I have worked both in legal practice and within non-legal business environments. My background includes working at engineering firm where large teams, systems, processes, and quality control was vital, an accounting firm where I was exposed to small business operations and dealing with regulation and regulatory bodies, which was an excellent foundation for my transition into the legal profession.

 

I worked at a boutique commercial law firm for 11 years. I started by setting up the firm, the systems, processes, and hiring of staff. Once the set up was behind us, my boss at the time said I would probably get bored doing admin for one lawyer and had I considered doing a law degree. Skip forward through all the long nights, hard work, and exams, I achieved this.

This was the most empowering and pivotal moments in my life. I loved dealing with clients, I loved networking and putting myself out there, and as a practising lawyer, I would also be able to get in and actually help my clients and their businesses.

I gained experience through practise, learning from those more advanced than me, and a lot of dedication. I also did my Masters in Applied Law to make sure I had all the tools I needed!

I truly believe in helping people, and I realise now that I have been working towards this my whole working life. I have been on the ground, I have been in the trenches, and I have seen firsthand how important clear systems, strong contracts and good advice really are.
